1) What products & services do you offer?
I am printmaker who works with analog practices, creating fine art prints utilizing woodblock, linoblock, monotype and experimental printmaking in my art making practice. Every aspect of the work is created by hand and without the aid of a computer. Most works are two dimensional, frame-able or on wooden panel ready for hanging. I also create 3-d mixed media sculptures, cards, paper earrings and pillows. When a viewer makes a connection and finds personal meaning in my work I am thrilled! I am a life long professional arts educator and offer classes in all aspects of relief and intaglio printmaking processes, from beginner to advanced learners. Topics include Linoleum Block, Wood Block and Monotype printmaking as well as one to one collaborative printmaking for special editions and small contract work. All of my work and most teaching happens at my beautiful light filled studio. My work is held in collections worldwide and I am represented by the Gallery at Flat Rock, NC. I also host events at the studio, offer press rental, team and family printmaking experiences as well as offer the studio space for rental for gatherings and special events.
2) What makes your printmaking unique?
My artwork draws on my unique blend of world experiences from a multitude of cultures, my interest in the ideas of abstraction and realism, the practice of wabi-sabi, macro and micro imaging, and textures. I create one-of-a-kind monotypes inspired by decaying structures, the forces weather has on the world, and poetry. I utilize Akua ink solely in my printmaking practice and in all my classes. This is a soy based, safer ink that has no VOC’s, is easily cleaned up with soap and water is made locally in North Carolina. Akua ink and its formulator, Susan Rostow, have transformed the face of printmaking world-wide.
3) How do I see your fine art prints in-person?

4) What makes your printmaking classes unique?
I am a working artist and seasoned life long arts educator who holds classes in in my professional printmaking studio. I am proud to foster a warm and inviting learning environment and tailor every learning experience to the needs of the student. All classes include concrete actionable clear instructions, best practices and lots of exploration and encouragement. We utilize Akua ink solely in all classes to ensure a safer working environment for all.
5) How do I take a printmaking class?
